Respect is a song presented by Lucky Dube, a veteran South African reggae musician and Rastafarian taken of the album tagged "Respect" that was released in the year 2006. As a frontline artist in the reggae genre, Lucky's unveils this track dubbed Respect off his thirteenth studio project which he also termed Respect. This project was very successful as at the time it was released.
Lucky says that he called the album Respect because that is what the world needs most right now. He says you can live with people even if you don’t believe in their beliefs, or even if you don’t like what they like; as long as you have respect for them.
