Olisa Yano

Olisa Gilbert Uyanwa better known by his stage name, Olisa Yano is a highly rated and fast-rising Nigerian songwriter and Afropop singer. He hails from Achalla, in Anambra State, Southeastern part of Nigeria. Born on the 21st of April 1995, and also raised in the City of Onitsha.

Music for Olisa Yano began at an early age in his church group choir, where it picked off. On March 10, 2021, he unveiled his debut record, 'Royal Majesty', to mark his debut and entrance into the mainstream industry. Some other records include, 'African Woman' and many more.

Olisa Yano drew inspiration from the Nigerian music heavyweight including; 2Baba, Patoranking, and Banky W and as well listen and emanates motivation from America's top-notch lyricists, Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, 50 Cent and Rihanna.
