ADEUYI ABIODUN PROSPER
ADEUYI ABIODUN PROSPER, popularly known and referred to as UYI is a highly gifted Nigerian singer and songwriter. A yet Independent artiste who hails from Southwest, Nigeria.
EARLY LIFE
Uyi was born on March 30th, 2002, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Adeuyi. He grew up as a kid with a huge passion for music. At the tender age of six, young Uyi was already passionate about Art and Entertainment by actively participating in different kinds of creative arts like singing, acting, dancing, drumming, and so on in his local church and primary school.
EDUCATION
Uyi had his secondary school education at Ilesa Grammar School, located in Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria, and later proceeded to the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Nigeria, where he studied Civil Engineering.
CAREER This very conscious musician and non-academic philosopher decided to embark on the path, inspired by paths set by music icons like Fela, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Beautiful Nubia, Enya, Burna Boy, and so many others, to become a professional recording and performing evolutionary artist.
Over the years, Uyi has honed his musical abilities by working with top-notch producers, including Dicolebeats and Flezzybeats, just to mention a few. Uyi’s sound can best be described as a distinct fusion of Afrobeats, Soul, Highlife, World, and New Age music.
On August 30th, 2023, Uyi released his first official single titled “Prayer Request" produced by Dicolebeats. Other records in Uyi's discography are:
