Lucky Philip Dube popularly known by his stage name Lucky Dube was born on 3 August 1964 in Ermelo, Transvaal (now Mpumalanga), South Africa.
Lucky Dube was a South African reggae musician and Rastafarian. He is also South Africa's biggest-selling reggae artist. The legendary reggae icon recorded several albums in different languages.
