Luis Suárez swaps Barcelona for LaLiga rivals Atlético Madrid
Spanish giant, Barcelona have reportedly sold striker, Luis Suarez to their La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.
The transfer was confirmed on Wednesday evening, as Suarez left the training grounds for the last time with tears. The statement read;
“FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their gratitude to Luis Suarez for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.”
However, the club is also planning on a farewell event on Thursday before a press conference.
After playing six successful seasons, Luis Suarez has won 13 titles, he has scored 198 goals and also Barcelona’s third top scorer.
